๐ฒ Paroho national security exhibition
In May 1951, during the Korean War, the Korean army destroyed three Chinese divisions in Paroho Lake and defended Hwacheon Dam. The battle was called the Battle of Paraho. The Paroho national security exhibition features details on the history of the Battle of Paroho and the Korean War. The images of the soldiers who fought valiantly during the Battle of Paroho Lake and the refugees are displayed in elaborate models.
๐ถKkeomeokdari bridge
The Kkeomuk Bridge was the first reinforced concrete bridge built in Hwacheon and was a very important supply route during the Korean War, so many battles took place around the Kkeomuk Bridge, and bullet marks from that time still remain.
Paroho Lake Sansogil bike tour
You can ride a bicycle along Paroho Lake, pass through the forest path, and also through the bike path on the river. Anyone can enjoy the course because it is a riverside road with only a few slopes and curves.
