The Hoengseong Tomato Festival celebrates the Dunnae Highland Tomatoes, these tomatoes are traditional South Korean ones that grow in Dunnae in Hoengseong.
Dunnae Highland Tomatoes grow to be much sweeter than tomatoes grown in other regions.
At the festival, singers often perform, over the past years they have had wonderful guests such as SISTAR, Zion.T, Hong Jinyoung and more.
Visitors can find hidden giveaways within a giant tomato pool.
You can even purchase these wonderful tomatoes at vendors that line the event!
