Gamjabat cafe is one of the most famous cafes in Chuncheon.
Their potato specialities are really popular with customers, especially their soft potato bread.🍞

You can also find a lot of really cute photo zones everywhere!

Chuncheon National Museum🖼️
Opened in 2002, Chuncheon National Museum was established to identify and promote the original form and characteristics of the regional culture of Gangwon-do.
The museum displays the artifacts based on Gangwon-do’s history and culture, ranging from prehistoric times to modern times.
Chuncheon National Museum’s collection is distributed between a Permanent Exhibition Hall, a Brand Hall, a Special Exhibition Hall, and an Outdoor Exhibition space. 🏯
One of the most beautiful places in this Museum is its cafe.☕
The Museum Cafe is situated at the center hall, with amazing architecture and a glass ceiling.
Visitors like to take a rest and have refreshments while enjoying the sunlight through the ceiling.
This Cafe also has an immersive digital exhibition. 🎞️
It shows beautiful and vivid videos of the Eight Sights of Gwandong, Five Hundred Arhats at Changnyeongsa Temple Site, and other sites on its 28m wide screen.

Step into the exhilarating world of Taekwondo at the Gangwon-Chuncheon Taekwondo Festival 2024,
where athleticism meets innovation in an electrifying display of skill and spectacle.
What is Taekwondo?
Taekwondo is an art of self-defense that originates from three Korean words, tae, "kick," kwon, "fist or punch,"
and do, "the art of." That's a pretty good description of this dynamic martial art,
which involves acrobatic kicks and graceful punches.
Like all martial arts, taekwondo isn't just combat but it is also an art and a discipline.
Get ready to watch this year's Chuncheon Taekwondo Festival and get inspired by all the performances
and competitions by athletes all over the nation.
The first ever Gangwon-Chuncheon Taekwondo Festival was in 2023 and featured approximately 15,000 athletes
from around 60 nations across premier events celebrating Taekwondo.
Ever since, it has been a popular festival among both locals and tourists to watch competitions,
attractions, and delicious food.
The Festival will include but not limited to the World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Game,
the 4th World Taekwondo Beach Games,
the 1st World Taekwondo Demonstration Team Championships and the World Para Taekwondo Open Challenge.
This year will be the second time the World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Game has been held following
last year's inaugural edition in Gangwon-Goseong city.
The World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Game sees athletes compete inside an octagonal structure
allowing them to utilize the boundaries in a way previously not possible.
It also embraces new gamification effects for the broadcast viewers to provide a unique viewing experience.
This year's competition will feature athletes across three categories: Individual (8 male and 8 female weight
divisions), Pair (male and female), and Team (4 male, 4 female and 2/2 mixed).
The Individual match format will be a best of 3 round system. The Pair and Team match formats will see the lighter
athletes through to the heavier athletes matched against each other.
The World Taekwondo Beach Games is new and will be the first time the event has taken place in Asia.
Athletes will compete in Recognized Poomsae, Freestyle Poomsae,
Technical Breaking and a Freestyle Dynamic Kicks and Breaking Challenge.
Through the hosting of these four events, World Taekwondo is showing the sport's diversity and inclusivity.
