At Alpensia
The sledding slope at Alpensia is all of 80 meters long with a difference in elevation on 22 meters.
For everyone’s convenience there’s a total of 200 sleds to use.
At Yongpyong
At Yongpyong Resort families with children can enjoy the 200-meter-wide Sledding slope.
It is just as fun for the children as the adults.
๐ Jinbu Traditonal Market
Jinbu Traditional Market is a traditional fifth-day market where you can feel the hospitality of a rural community. It is also famous as the setting of Lee Hyoseok's short storey “When Buckwheat Flowers Bloom.” When the market is open, long rows of stalls form starting from the entrance, selling daily necessities, clothes, vegetables, mushrooms, and other foods.
๐ Pyeongchang Ice Fishing Festival
Pyeongchang Trout Festival is located 700m above sea level. It has the first and largest trout farm in Korea.
There are many fun activities such as ice and bait fishing for trout, from the see-through ice, you can even see the fish playing in Odaecheon Stream. There's other various games that integrate ice and snow, and folk programs. You can also grill and prepare trout caught during fishing.
