Enjoy the exhibition of large snow sculptures, sledding and take breathtaking winter pictures at the representative snow festival!!!
You can enjoy the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival every year in January.
The festival, which started in 1993, offers a variety of fun activities in the snowy hills. It’s a unique Korean festival run by the villagers.
There are activities such as an ice slide, snow rafting, snow maze, sheep feeding, and indoor experience center,
hidden singer concert, Pyeongchang Winter Performance Festival, Snowflake Song Festival, traditional snowboarding,
and the process of making dried pollack in the ice igloo.
You can also try different food such as buckwheat pancake, makguksu,
grilled dried pollack, Korean beef, trout sashimi, and potato ongshimi.
